Queen recruited 5,000 fan club members to shoot the promo video for 'We Are The Champions'. Afterwards, they played a mini-concert to thank them.

Queen played a full concert at this one day festival. Roger had to perform with bright green hair after a failed attempt to dye it.

These concerts were played to film Queen's first live video, 'We Will Rock You', later re-released as 'Queen Rock Montreal' as a double CD album and DVD, accompanied by an edited download of 'Keep Yourself Alive'. 'Save Me' was available to stream online as part of the 'Absolute Greatest' release, and excerpts of the concert also appear on the 'Rare Live' video. 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Save Me', 'Flash' and 'The Hero' were all released as audio tracks on the 2011 double disc reissues of 'Jazz', 'The Game' and 'Flash Gordon', while an edited video of 'Now I'm Here' was released on the 'Sheer Heart Attack' 2011 iTunes LP. Footage of Freddie performing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was used on the Queen + Paul Rodgers 2008 Tour, and footage of 'Under Pressure' appears in the promo video on the 'Days Of Our Lives' DVD and Blu-ray. The entire original video was also released on the Cry Argentina bootleg, as part of the 'Top 100 Bootlegs' project.
