'Freddie Mercury - Solo' is the name of two boxed sets released on 23 February 2000, which chronicle Freddie's solo work.

The first is a 3CD set which contains the 'Mr Bad Guy' and 'Barcelona' albums, plus a third disc containing six singles from other sessions, and one remix. The set comes in a thin double CD case in an outer slipcase, with a booklet and separate sleeve for the bonus disc. The set charted at #13 in the UK charts.

The second set contains 10CD's and 2DVD's, housed in a 30cm x 40.5cm coffee-table sized 119 page book, which features a biography, photographs, discography, lyrics and track details. The discs are housed in the inner sleeves of the book, and feature every track which Freddie recorded as a solo artist, including studio out-takes, unreleased demos, early versions, instrumentals, and tracks which appeared on his numerous singles. The set comes in an outer solid card sleeve, with a colour wraparound along the spine. The entire set is then housed in a plain cardboard box, which has a barcode and catalogue number. There are two versions of the set available, containing PAL or NTSC versions of the DVD's.

In 2006 a download video book was due to be released to coincide with Freddie's 60th birthday, but I am unsure as to whether it was released (as in January 2007, iTunes and 7Digital have no mention of it). It was due to feature the above eight interviews, plus an interview from Munich 1985, divided into three parts.
