Broadcast live on TV and broadcast to over one billion people worldwide
The whole concert was released as a
video and later as a DVD. 'Somebody To Love' was later released on 'Greatest Hits III' and 'Greatest Flix III', whilst 'Under Pressure' was used as the video for the 'Rah' remix. Extreme's version of 'Love Of My Life' was later released in a modified form as the B-side to their 'Song For Love' single.

Lead vocals by Elton John, keyboards by Spike Edney. Queen perform one track live only, at the premiere of the ballet. This track was released on 'Greatest Hits III' and 'Greatest Flix III'. This is the last performance by Queen with John Deacon.

Queen perform two tracks at this party for Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher, producers/directors of many Queen videos.

Queen (Roger Taylor and Brian May) appear with Spike Edney on keyboards and Steve Barnacle on bass, with Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters. Brian then plays guitar for Steely Dan and the All Star finale.

1. 30 April 2002 - Musumplein, Amsterdam, Holland
Queen (Roger Taylor and Brian May) perform in front of 130,000 people in a free concert to mark the Queen's 50th Jubilee. It was broadcast live on TV and radio in Holland, with the following musicians: Jamie Moses (guitar), Spike Edney (keyboards), Steve Barnacle (bass), Eric Singer (drums), Zoe Nicholas and Susie Webb (backing vocals)
Some of the tracks from the concert were released on the Dutch '
Heineken' CD-Rom only.


2002 'Parkinson' Performance

1. 2 May 2002 - BBC Television Studios, London, England (?)
Queen (Roger Taylor and Brian May) perform three tracks with the cast to promote the musical. Spike Edney joins Queen to provide keyboards. The 'Ben Elton Introduction' is a short, heavy piece which begins with the 'Hammer To Fall' intro guitar chords. The show was broadcast on 18 May 2002.

Queen (Roger Taylor and Brian May) perform with the concert's backing band (which includes Phil Collins on drums), to a worldwide audience of 200 million. Roger drums alongside Phil Collins for all Queen tracks except 'Radio Ga Ga'. Brian & Roger also make guest appearances on:

Queen (Roger Taylor and Brian May) perform with the We Will Rock You band as part of 'Children In Need', taking to the stage at 12:15 am. Brian and Roger on stage for 'We Will Rock You' onwards - they do not appear on 'Another One Bites The Dust'

2003 ARK Concert

Both then played on the all-star finale, 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'

1. 14 May 2003 - Billingsgate Market, London, England
Roger joins the SAS Band at this concert in aid of the ARK charity, later joined by Brian. Also appearing were Chris Thompson, Roy Wood and Bob Geldof.


2003 Pavarotti Charity Show
We Will Rock You, Radio Ga Ga, Too Much Love Will Kill You, We Are The Champions

1. 27 May 2003 - unknown venue, Modena, Italy
Queen (Brian and Roger) perform at a charity concert held by Pavarotti, alongside other acts, to raise funds for Iraqi refugees.

Queen open the concert with 'We Will Rock You', with Brian and Roger on vocals. They return later to perform 'Radio Ga Ga', with Roger on vocals, and 'Too Much Love Will Kill You', as a duet between Brian and Pavarotti. At the end of the concert they perform 'We Are The Champions', sung by Roger, Brian and Zucchero.

Queen (Brian and Roger) perform with a host of other musicians in a concert to raise funds and awareness of AIDS, broadcast to over two million people worldwide.


All of the songs from this concert were later released on the '46664' DVD, and all except 'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime' were released on the '46664' CD. 'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime' was also included as a bonus track on Zucchero's 'Live At The Royal Albert Hall' DVD.

Brian and Roger appear at this aftershow party with the cast of 'We Will Rock You' Las Vegas. The show features Meat Loaf, with his guitarist Paul Crook, plus many other notable musicians. The two leads from the musical, Jason Wooten and Kacie Sheik, sing most of the songs.

Queen perform at the finale of the MTV Russia Awards, with the Russian cast of the musical. They are joined for the second track by Russian rock star Zemfira.

Queen a medley of hits on this TV show, with the German cast of 'We Will Rock You'. In the interview which followed, Brian and Roger announced the 2005 tour with Paul Rodgers. This performance was later released on iTunes.

Brian and Roger appear at the 1000th performance of the musical in London to perform a few tracks.


2006 Foo Fighters Concert

Tie Your Mother Down (Taylor Hawkins on vocals, Brian on guitar, Roger on drums)

1. 17 June 2006 - Hyde Park, London, England
Brian and Roger are special guests at the end of this Foo Fighters concert, performing two tracks. Just before Queen appear, Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters does a Freddie style sinaglong and dedicates the entire show to him.


2006 Freddie Mercury Birthday Party
Bohemian Rhapsody (Brian, Roger and Cast), Love Of My Life (performed by Brian), Say It's Not True (performed by Brian & Roger), The Show Must Go On (Brian, Roger and Cast)

1. 5 September 2006 - The Dominion Theatre, London, England
Brian and Roger join the London cast of 'We Will Rock You' to celebrate Freddie's sixtieth birthday and perform a mini-concert at the end. The show also featured McFly who performed 'Don't Stop Me Now' with The Killer Queen.


2007 Al Murray's Happy Hour
We Will Rock You (with part of 'Tear It Up')

1. 10 March 2007 - Studio 1, South Bank Studios, London
The cast of the London musical came onstage to perform the track, just before the guitar solo, a curtain dropped to reveal Brian and Roger. The track included part of 'Tear It Up' and was longer than normal. Al Murray joined sang vocals towards the end.


2007 Canadian Idol
Bohemian Rhapsody (cast on vocals), The Show Must Go On (finalists of Canadian Idol on vocals, in turn)

1. 1 August 2007 - Canon Theatre, Toronto, Canada
Queen perfom a couple of tracks with the cast of the musical and are joined by the finalists of Canadian Idol who each sing part of the track. It is unclear whether this was as part of the musical (eg. in front of a live audience) or especially for TV.


2007 Foo Fighters Concert
'39 (Brian and Taylor Hawkins on vocals)

1. 17 November 2007 - O2 Arena, London, England
Roger and Brian join the Foo Fighters to perform '39, in it's entirety. Roger plays percussion (cymbal & tamourine) and provides backing vocals, with Brian on vocals and guitar. The whole of the Foo Fighters also played on the track.
