USA Record Company Sleeves & Labels

This page features scans of record company sleeves and labels that have been used for Queen and Solo records in the USA. Any customised labels are excluded, as these can be found in the individual album/single pages.

For each sleeve/label, I have indicated which singles it is known to have been used for, but this is by no means a complete list. To further confuse things, some releases were available with different label designs.

Record Sleeves

	Elektra (Normal) Company Sleeve [USA: 1973 - 1980] Presumably used for all singles released on the Elektra Label, without a PS.
	Elektra 'Spun Gold' Company Sleeve [USA: 1974 - 1982?] Presumably used for all singles issued on the 'Spun Gold' label Known to have been used for the 'Liar' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' re-issues

Record Labels

	Caterpillar Elektra Company Label [USA: 1973-1977] Used for selected singles only Known to have been used for 'Keep Yourself Alive', 'We Are The Champions', all 'Day At The Races' singles, and 'Bicycle Race'
	Butterfly Elektra Company Label [USA: 1973-1979] Used for the majority of singles, upto and including 'We Will Rock You (live)'.
	'Spun Gold' Elektra Label [USA: 1974-1982?] Used for all 'Spun Gold' singles (?) Known to have been used for 'Liar' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' issues
	Red Elektra Label [USA: 1979-] Used for singles from 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' onwards Known to have been used for 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', 'Another One Bites The Dust', 'Need Your Loving Tonight', 'Flash' and 'Under Pressure' The 'You're My Best Friend', 'Somebody To Love', 'We Are The Champions' and 'It's Late' also had a red label, but this may not be the same as the one pictured.
	White Elektra Promo Label [USA: 1979-1980?] Used for some Promo and Demo records only Known to have been used for 'Play The Game'. 'Back Chat' also had a white label design, but this may not be the same as the one pictured.
	White Hollywood Records Label [USA: 1991 onwards?] Presumably used for all of Hollywood Records vinyl Known to have been used for 'The Show Must Go On' / 'Bohemian Rhapsody'
