Under Total Songs, the
first number indicates the songs found on albums; the figure in
brackets is the number of additional non-album songs.
The figure for Queen Albums includes 'Queen Rocks' (which really
only contains one song). It also treats the 'Freddie Mercury
Solo' boxed set as an album. This release means that are not
really any non-album tracks by Freddie. Freddie statistics ignore
early tracks, namely 'Ideas', 'The Duet' and 'Rachmaninov's
Revenge'. Of the four 46664 tracks, two are included ('Amandla'
and 'Invincible Hope') whilst the two live-only tracks ('46664 -
The Call' and 'Say It's Not True') are not included.
Longest And
Shortest Tracks
There are currently 7
Queen and Solo tracks under one minute in length (ignoring
alternate versions).
- New York, New York (Queen) - 33

- Have A Nice Day (Freddie Mercury)

- Space (Brian May) - 46 seconds
- Aaron (Brian May) - 49 seconds
- Fire (Brian May) - 55 seconds
- The Wedding March (Queen) - 56
seconds
- The Ring (Queen) - 57 seconds
There are also 7 Queen and Solo tracks
over seven minutes in length (ignoring alternate versions).
- Bluesbreaker (Brian May) - 12
minutes 50 seconds
- The Prophet's Song (Queen) - 8
minutes 21 seconds
- Starfleet (Brian May) - 8 minutes
0 seconds
- Il Colosso (Brian May) - 7 minutes
31 seconds
- Another World (Brian May) - 7
minutes 26 seconds
- Let Me Out (Brian May) - 7 minutes
11 seconds
- London Town C'mon Down (Roger
Taylor) - 7 minutes 11 seconds
'The Fire Within' by Brian May and
Michael Kamen lasts for 8 minutes 50 seconds, although Brian does
not perform for all of the duration. The CD of 'Made In Heaven'
contains undoubtedly the longest and shortest tracks, these being
'Yeah' which lasts for only 2 seconds, and 'Track 13', which
lasts for 22:30. These are not included in the above stats as
they are not proper songs.

Song Writer Analysis
This table summarises how many songs each member of the group has
contributed to albums over the years:
These figures ignore retitled tracks
(eg 'Blurred Vision', 'A Dozen Red Roses For My Darling' etc),
and also 'Queen Talks', 'Yeah' and 'Track 13', which don't really
count as proper songs. Also, 'Seven Seas Of Rhye', 'My Life Has
Been Saved' and 'It's A Beautiful Day' are all counted once only,
despite the fact that two versions exist. The first figure
indicates the number of tracks that appear on albums from the
era, whilst the figure in brackets is the number of additional
tracks on singles, videos etc.

Queen
Songs Written By Queen
As the above table shows, there are 27 Queen songs credited as
being written by Queen as a group. In this section, I have
attempted to identify the main writer (or contributor) to each
track, by considering the style of the song, other tracks written

Richez. Although I agree for many of the tracks, there are a few
where I disagree.
