Queen Albums Discography
In this discography, all information generally refers to the first country listed, unless stated. Each entry contains a list of all of the countries which are known to have released the album, regardless of tracks or format. Any 'reported' releases are ignored.
This page is based heavily on the discography on Andy's Queen Page and also the Queen Fan Club biography.
All CD catalogue numbers are for the original CD issues (in the mid-eighties) - the 1994 Digital Remaster CD's and Cassettes are not included.
There is only one release for which an approximate release date is not known - this is the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' LP which appears at the start of the list.
Miniature CD's
In both 1998 and 2004,
various studio albums were re-released in Japan on CD, which
contained identical artwork to the original LP issues.
The 1998 issues, widely referred to as 'Miniatures', were Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races, News Of The World, Jazz and The Game. These feature a black obi-strip which includes a 'Queen 25' logo, to mark the band's 25th anniversary.
The 2004 issues, widely referred to as 'Mini CD's', were Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races, News Of The World, Jazz, The Game, Flash Gordon, Hot Space, The Works, A Kind Of Magic, The Miracle, Innuendo and Made In Heaven. Made In Heaven was issued in two sleeves - the 'morning' LP sleeve and the 'evening' CD sleeve. These feature a chequered grey and white obi strip.
Three live albums, 'Live Killers', 'Live Magic' and 'Live At Wembley', were also re-issued at a later date in 2004.
